Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its evolving impact, the MNU AGM 2021 has been moved to an ONLINE platorm. This year's Virtual Annual General Meeting will provide a one-day business forum (Tuesday, April 27th, 2021). Union activities of the previous 12 months are reviewed, policies of the organization are voted on and approved, and new directions are set for the future.
The Manitoba Nurses Union's Annual General Meeting is attended by roughly 500 delegates each year who listen to engaging speakers, discuss emerging issues and influence the course of the organization.
Before the COVID-19 pandemic, the AGM week also features our annual banquet, giving the delegates a chance to meet, as well as an Education Day where members have the opportunity to learn from one of many inspiring speakers.
For this year's virtual AGM, the list submitted for delegates must be accurate. Once all delegates are registered by e-mail, the list is then considered final.
