The call for election/appointment of the Provincial Collective Bargaining Committee (PCBC) is commencing for a new PCBC for the term that encompasses the 2017 provincial central table negotiations.
The breakdown of representatives per region is as follows:

Each nomination must be made by a MNU member and supported by two additional members. Please include a brief resume with each nomination, including regional/local/worksite involvement, employment summary and any other relevant information. All nominations and resumes must be received at the provincial MNU office by midnight on Monday, May 16, 2016.
Elections, if required, will take place between the hours of 0001 and 2359 on Thursday, June 23rd, 2016.
This year, MNU will be using Simply Voting to conduct the electronic voting process. Each elector will be provided with an instruction letter and PIN to access the Simply Voting website where they can view the resumes of the candidates.
On June 23rd, 2016, the member will be able to access a tamper-proof electronic ballot. Once the voter has submitted the ballot, the results are encrypted and kept anonymous. The voter is issued a receipt and is blocked from voting in this election again. Once voting has ended, the results will be immediately available to the Nominations & Elections Committee.
Successful candidates will be notified by the Nominations Committee on Friday, June 24th, 2016.
