MNU president Sandi Mowat was part of the CFNU delegation which recently hosted and participated in a round table discussion, comprised of more than 40 Canadian health experts and professionals, about priorities and strategies for negotiating the new Canada Health Accord.

The Canada Health Accord is an agreement between the provinces, territories and federal government which provides the provinces with stable funding and sets national standards. The 2004 Health Accord expired on March 31, 2014.
