The 38th Annual General Meeting of the Manitoba Nurses Union begins on Tuesday, April 30 in Brandon.

The 500 delegates from across MB will convene at the Keystone Centre, located at 1175 8th Street, for two days of discussions.

Speakers at this year's AGM include:

  • MNU President Sandi Mowat will address the delegates.
    Tuesday, April 30 at 9:30a.m.
  • Minister of Health, Theresa Oswald will discuss changes in legislation that specifically focus on violence in health care.
    Tuesday at 9:45 a.m.
  • Margaret Trudeau — Celebrated Canadian and mental health advocate will speak about the challenges she faced being in the public eye and how she overcame bipolar disorder.
    Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 1:30 p.m.
