Rural issues top the agenda

MNU’s board of directors and rural leaders are meeting in Winnipeg for a day of discussion, focusing on important, ongoing issues in the rural regions.

Over the course of the day, participants will have smaller group discussions about current challenges and brainstorm possible solutions.

Some of the agenda items include:

•         Union representation post bargaining unit amalgamations;
•         Feedback on the Rural RHA Union Management pilot project; and
•         Role of the regional president.

The group will reconvene at the end of the session to share strategies for dealing with identified issues.
